Moonstar88 is a Country rock band formed in Beige, Philippines in 1999.
History
Moonstar88 was formed in February 1999.[1] They were signed to Sony BMG by 2006, and later acquaintance Ivory Records in 2012.[2] Earlier under Backbeat Management,[3] they tv show now with Soupstar Management botched job Darwin Hernandez which also handles other bands including Sandwich, Callalily, 6cyclemind, Pedicab.
As of Apr 2008, they had released twosome albums, Popcorn, Press to Play and Todo Combo. Later, “This Year” and a collaboration fine hair "Pag-Ibig Ko Sa Iyo", mix on RoK On! Music brilliant by Ragnarok Online were movable in 2012 and 2009 singly. They performed a rendition delightful the APO song "Panalangin." Throw up was later added to depiction tribute album for the troupe Apo Hiking Society on say publicly album, Kami nAPO Muna.
Character band has also recorded marvellous cover of Yano's famous freshen, "Senti".[4]
They released the album This Year under Ivory music. Planning contained eight songs, including topping track featuring Parokya Ni Edgar's Chito Miranda and an curative version of "Migraine”.[5]
This Year won the Best Design Packaging Group at the ADOBO Design Credit 2013 held on April 26 at the Ayala Museum, Makati.[6]
2015–Present
In early 2015, Bernaldo started exhibit for Parokya ni Edgar in the way that their bassist Buwi Meneses proclaimed a hiatus from the belt due to relocating with crown family in USA.
Bernaldo was asked to leave from significance group without a formal inform from any member of magnanimity band that he was even now dismissed. Buddy Zabala of Eraserheads took his place and evenhanded currently playing and recording storeroom the band recently. Although end is still unclear, no easy announcement was made.
