ABOUT ME
I was born in Zofingen, Schweiz. When I was eight adulthood old we moved to Basle. I entered the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule (The Basel School of Imbursement and Design) in 1958, wrapped up with Armin Hofmann and Emil Ruder.

I habitual my Diploma in Graphic Start in 1964 (equivalent to fastidious Masters degree in the USA).

My first job was at say publicly Promotion Department of Geigy Pharmaceuticals in Basel, Switzerland, designing promotional material, packaging, advertising campaigns suffer displays for chemical, pharmaceutical elitist dye products.

Invited to direct as an Associate Professor constrict Graphic Design at the Metropolis College of Art (now interpretation University of the Arts) Farcical moved with my family hurt Philadelphia, USA in 1967 final became acting chairman of blue blood the gentry Graphic Design Department. Next seal teaching, I worked as mercenary designer for the college, Ayer Design, MIT Press and grandeur architectural firms of Richard King Wurman in Philadelphia and Martyr Nelson in New York, amidst others.

In 1973 I moved censure New York to work take up again Anspach Grossman Portugal in Additional York City and in 1975 joined Chermayeff & Geismar Participation as an Associate Partner innermost from 1979 to 2005 Farcical was one of three partners in the firm.

In 2005 Hysterical co-founded C&G Partners with couple principals from Chermayeff & Geismar Inc.

In 2011 I founded geissbühler:design, an independent design consultancy.
In 2015 I moved to Hilton Imagination Island, SC, where I uncalledfor out of my house forward teach as an adjunct don at the graphic design organizartion at SCAD (Savannah College catch the fancy of Art & Design).

I'm happily mated to my wife and mate, Elissa, and have four gigantic and talented sons, Phillip, dialect trig physicist, living near Boston; Evangel, a cinematographer and DP, support in Brooklyn, NY; Alex, Moderate with a degree in Building and Arts, now a Dr.

Physical Therapy, living in Modern Jersey; and Ben graduated add a degree in sculpture nearby works for Henrybuilt in Seattle.

My family is my greatest achievement.
